Booking Conditions for St James Villa, Holetown, St James, Barbados, Caribbean.
The terms and conditions set out below apply to all members of the party on whose behalf the booking is made and forms your contract with St James Villa.
The making of a booking (unless cancelled within 7 working days of receipt of confirmation) will form an agreement between you, the Visitor, and St James Villa Owners for the holiday rental of St James Villa.
2. Booking and Payment
For bookings made 8 weeks or more in advance, a non-refundable deposit of 20% is required on booking. For bookings made less than 8 weeks before arrival, full payment must be made. Balances are due 8 weeks prior to arrival. If the booking details are incorrect, or you do not receive confirmation of your booking within 10 days, please contact the Owners. All payments due are in GB pounds. You may pay by cheque or bank transfer. You must provide details of all members of your party along with your flight number.
Unless written notice of cancellation is received within 8 weeks of booking, you will be liable for the full amount due. The deposit is non-refundable.
The holiday price will include all charges for water, gas, and electricity. Air conditioning must only be used when the room is occupied and windows must not be left open.
5. Lost Property
Lost property will normally be disposed of within 2 months and a reasonable administration fee to cover the costs of storage and handling may be charged.
Pets are not permitted except for Assistance Dogs, where notification ks required before booking.
The Visitor will be responsible for any damage whether caused by the Visitor or their party. The villa must be kept and left in the same state of repair and condition, and in a clean and tidy state, as at the commencement of the holiday. Lost keys are chargeable.
Activities that may be a nuisance or annoyance to Owners, other guests or to any neighbours is not permitted.
Smoking is not permitted in the villa.
10. Candles & BBQs
The use of candles and outdoor BBQs is permitted but must not be left unattended at any time.
The villa may only be used for the purpose of a holiday by the Visitor and the Visitor’s party, and not for any other purpose. The maximum occupancy shall not be exceeded. Permission should be first sort before holding a function (i.e. a wedding, party celebration).
Any problems should be immediately reported to the housekeeper or agent.
13. Arrival and Departure Times
Arrival times, flight numbers and times, must be advised for all party members. Check out time is 12 midday.
Termination may be given without notice, and in such case the Visitor and his or her party must leave the villa, (without compensation being payable to the Visitor or any member of his or her party) if this is deemed necessary where there is a serious breach of the terms and conditions.
